Wanting to bring their passion for Puerto Rican cuisine to their community in a big way, Gabriel and Tennille went to work bringing Benny’s On The Go Inc. to life. With a sharp focus on quality and customer service, they set a high bar for their cuisine. Both Gabriel and Tennille grew up in New York, the heart of Puerto Rican culture. So they are not afraid of using bold, flavorful flavors. Follow them in their journey as they introduce their enterprise to San Diego with tasty food with Puerto Rican flavors.

Benny’s On The Go Inc. pays tribute to the late Benny Egea (Father) who shared his love with everyone he touched. We strive to continue his legacy by combining his passion for Puerto Rican Food with the Spirit of California to launch our Puerto Rican Food Enterprise. With the will and desire to bring our passion for Puerto Rican cuisine to our community in a big way, we (Gabe and Tee) went to work bringing Benny’s On The Go to life. We are not afraid of using bold, flavorful home cooking flavors into every dish. Follow us in our journey as we introduce San Diego to tasty food with Puerto Rican flavors.
We officially opened for business on January 24, 2017 after the late Annie Pearl Thomas (Mother In-Law) as a family owned and operated catering company and Pop-up Restaurant
All of our recipes are Puerto Rican family recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation from all across the globe. Our recipes start with our homemade Sofrito and we only use the best ingredients and quality cuts of meat. We support our local vendors by using local bread. Fresh high quality produce and what’s Puerto Rican food without GOYA! Every dish is prepared to order to ensure the highest quality with home cooking in mind.
